Our Story

MORTON
OVERKILL.

MOK Fishing Company was founded by brothers Justin Morton and Jase Morton, lifelong anglers from Southeast Texas who grew up freshwater fishing legendary lakes like Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend before expanding their passion into the shallow marshes, bayous, and coastal waters that define the Southeast Texas coast.

The name MOK comes from a family phrase — “You M-O-K’ed it,” meaning Morton Overkill — an attitude that whatever is worth doing is worth overdoing.

Built on years of time spent on the water, MOK Fishing creates custom-designed baits developed from firsthand experience and a commitment to quality, performance, and reliability — products they confidently fish themselves.
